Renowned for its fresh, expertly crafted sushi and a diverse menu that caters to all types of sushi lovers, Sushi-Ten impresses with flavorful delicacy and visual artistry in every dish.

The extensive menu features standout items such as the vibrant California Roll drizzled with rich eel sauce, the perfectly cooked Shrimp Tempura Roll with its golden, crispy texture, and the luxurious Salmon Sake Nigiri Sushi that melts on the palate with the freshness of the sea. Fans of sashimi are thoroughly spoiled with choices like Toro, Salmon, and Yellowtail Sashimi, each slice presenting impeccable quality and delicate balance. For those craving heartier options, the Teriyaki Salmon and Teriyaki Chicken bento boxes offer comforting broiled and grilled options paired with steaming white rice. The flavorful Beef Donburi and Katsu Donburi add satisfying variety beyond the sushi bar.

Sushi-Ten’s hand rolls deserve special mention: the Soft Shell Hand Roll, bursting with deep-fried softshell crab and creamy cheese, and the Rainbow Hand Roll, a colorful combination of tuna, yellowtail, and salmon, both provide a delicious handheld alternative full of contrasting textures and fresh ingredients. For a fun twist, their Large Sake Bomb is a crowd favorite, pairing perfectly with any order.

The atmosphere complements the quality cuisine wonderfully. The staff are not just attentive but genuinely warm and friendly, often engaging guests with a welcoming smile and good humor that makes every visit feel personal and enjoyable. Alberto Rascón’s praise for the “lovely staff” and “reasonably priced, high-quality sushi” captures the authentic experience diners can expect.

Dessert options at Sushi-Ten are a delightful conclusion to the meal, featuring Japanese-inspired treats like Mochi Ice Cream in green tea or red bean, and unique items such as the Samanco Fish Ice Cream, along with classic flavors like matcha and strawberry soft cones. The Bindi Tiramisu offers a fusion dessert option that perfectly blends international flavors with delicate sweetness.

The best place for sushi in Tucson! The staff is always lovely, and it’s consistently packed with people. Although they no longer offer happy hour (pre-2020), the prices remain reasonable for the quality of sushi. They recently remodeled and gave the place a cleaner look, which I really appreciate—a fresh coat of white paint has made it feel much more lively. Despite the changes, the sushi remains a solid 10/10, making this my all-time favorite sushi spot in Tucson.

Great food, good service. Comfortable atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and likes to joke around with you if you start the conversation. We ordered 8 rolls total, one that is not pictured but the rolls came out fairly quickly and were delicious, no complaints about the food, service or quality.

Great place for sushi. No other place in town where you can get that quality for that price. We love the wait staff! Each time we visit they are so wonderful!

Very fresh sushi here. The sashimi salmon, tuna, and yellowtail are my go to. Sushi chefs are fast, precise, and serve excellent portions with great presentation. Exquisite freshness screams out from every bite. Absolutely my regular spot now for a quick sashimi craving fix. Lots of great options on the menu, too.

It has become tradition to come here after hiking. I started around 2017 and they have always been pretty consistent! If you’ve been to any of the major sushi places here, I’d imagine you’ll also be familiar with how this place is laid out. I can’t comment on any of their other offerings, but I can speak favorably of their sushi!
